Google’s “Penguin” update has affected numerous sites, with one major focus in mind – sites should have real and relevant content related to what the user is actually searching for.

Google’s Webmaster Guidelines, has a tremendous amount of information that can help your site not get slapped, banned or removed from the Google search results.

Many website entrepreneurs, some SEO consultants and others have started using all types of software and programs to try to beat Google and get to that coveted top spot.

Don’t do it….

If you are tempted to use things like hidden text or hidden linkscloaking or sneaky redirects“doorway” pages created just for search engines, and other tactics, avoid them at all cost.

Review your sites and remove all references to any such programs and strategies and just add relevant information to your website.
